Arrangements should be made at least six months in advance. One member of the wedding party must be a registered contributing parishioner for at least six months prior to beginning marriage preparations. The couple meeets four times with the pastor -- once for a general session, once for a pre-marital inventory (PMI), once to review the results of the PMI and fill out a pre-nuptial questionnaire and the final time to pick readings and get answers to any last-minutes questions. Couples also are required to attend a marriage retreat.
