Painless fundraisers at St. John's School

Fundraisers have become part of non-public schools' efforts to help raise the monies needed to fund various teaching tools and student curriculum needs. Below is a listing of some painless fundraisers that require you to simply clip, save and drop off at the school or church, or shop and/or search online:

Magazine Fund Raiser: This an on-going campaign. St. John's School will get credit for any renewals or new subscriptions for magazines at any time. You can order (or renew) by calling School Mall at (877) 643-6146 or through the Internet at www.schoolmall.com. Refer to customer #116603 when ordering. Call Patti Kopp at 438-2173 with any questions.

Cell Phone Collection: Our school is participating in a cell phone fundraiser. There is nothing for you to buy or sell to participate. We simply ask that you donate your extra cell phones to our drive. Send the phones with their batteries to school. No chargers or accessories are needed.

Battery Fundraiser: Go to www.batteryfundraising.com and place your order for batteries. The school will receive 25% of each purchase. This program runs continuously throughout the year. Use organization code: MBM395 when ordering.

Paper Drive: Please continue to save your papers and drop them off in the garage on the north side of the church.

Aluminum Can Recycling: Please continue to save aluminum cans for our next recycling drive. You may bring recyclable aluminum cans to the garage on the north side of the church.

Campbell's Soup UPCs (barcodes): Please continue to save Campbell's soup UPCs and lids from specially marked products. They may be dropped off at school or at the back of church.

Boxtops for Education: Please continue to save your Boxtops for Education squares from specially marked products. They may be dropped off at school or at the back of church.

Coburn's Food-Club Labels for Learning: Coburn's will donate 5 cents for every Food Club product UPC (barcode) collected. For each bundle of 500, the school will receive $25.00. The UPCs can be dropped off at school or at the back of church.

Recycled Used Printer and Fax Cartridges: The cartridges can be turned into cash for the school. Drop off your manufacturer's print cartridges at school or at the back of church.

Kemps Give 'em Five Fundraiser Program: Each specially marked cap or proof of purchase from Kemps' gallon and half-gallon plastic container or cardboard half-gallon container is worth five cents. Please collect the tops for our school and drop them off at school or church.

Nature's Touch Milk Moola: We are participating in the Milk Moola Program sponsored by Kwik Trip Stores. Each specially marked cap or bag of your favorite Nature's Touch products, such as milk, orange juice, bottled water and Kwik Trip's line of sport and fruit drinks with the Milk Moola symbol, is worth five cents. Please collect the caps or bag tops and drop them off at school or church.

Take Charge of Education: Target donates 1% of Target Visa Card or Target Guest Card purchases to the customer's designated school. This is a great way to shop at Target and help our school. lign="justify">Goodsearch: St. John's School has registered with Goodsearch. We all search the Internet on a daily basis, using tools such as Google or Yahoo. However, by simply switching your Internet search engine to Goodsearch you can help St. John'a raise money for our school. To participate: Go to: www.goodsearch.com. Then, where it says "Who do you goodsearch for," type in "St. John the Baptist School, Vermillion." Then click "Verify." It will then repeat the name of our school. You're then ready to search. You only have to set it up once and then every time you search the web, a penny will be donated to our school.
